Bring your beloved but broken item to New Paltz and together, with a volunteer Repair Coach, fix it... for FREE!

This Saturday we will feature all of our "core" repair categories...PLUS

  • It seems each event brings new surprises to light, thanks to specialized skills “hidden” in our community.

New to this Repair Café, Saugerties author Vernon Benjamin will offer “wordsmithing” for any type of writing, letter or document brought to him. “I have done a range of
technical writing, testimony, reports, news stories, fiction, nonfiction, poetry and drama. Showing others how I handled aspects of this writing might be useful.” Vernon is well-known for The History of the Hudson River Valley.

Vince Murray will again bring his welding truck and offer metal repair. Where else are you going to find that? (Weather permitting—the welding must be done out of doors)

And Don Grice will take one of your beloved but damaged photos and digitally restore it, as he has done for many friends and family. Bring your actual photo and a thumb drive. Don will scan your photo and provide you with a restored digital image that you can take away and have printed.

Note: Felicia Casey cannot be with us this time for Doll repairs. Also we don't have sharpening services (knives & tools) at our New Paltz Repair Cafes.
