The Village of Castleton-on-Hudson hosts a Repair Café one weekend a month all year ‘round! (with the occasional exception:)
Summer is upon us, and our once-a-month Repair Cafes will be outdoors at the Friday evening Farmers and Artisans Market on the corner of Main and Scott (Routes 9J & 150). During the cool/cold months you will find us in the Village Hall. Our generous volunteer “repair coaches” will make repairs while you marvel at their skill and knowledge...and watch & learn & help.
This is a free community service…repairs by experts who are also your neighbors!
People visiting the Repair Café bring along their broken but beloved items. Toasters, lamps, clothes, toys, crockery, furniture, items needing welding... anything that is broken is welcome. Refreshments too!
Watch the Village's Facebook page, the Advertiser and Our Towne for upcoming dates. You can get more information by emailing Gina Giuliano at email@example.com
