In the spring of 2017, Cornwall Public Library joined the international repair movement, launching its first Repair Café in Cornwall. We have volunteer repair experts available to help make repairs free of charge in the library’s centrally-located community room. Tools and materials are also on hand.  It’s a great opportunity to bring your broken items from home, such as toasters, lamps, hair dryers, clothes, bikes, toys, crockery… etc. that need repair that you’re not quite ready to part with.

By promoting repairs, the Cornwall Public Library wants to help reduce waste, connect people, and highlight the skills and talents in our community.  The library is looking for volunteers to repair items, so if you would like to volunteer – or, if you have a special talent – please contact Brenda Goldfarb at 845-534-8282, ext. 203 or bgoldfarb@rcls.org.
