Pound Ridge is pleased to present their 1st Repair Cafe on Saturday May 18 from 11am to 3pm at Conant Hall.
The Repair Cafe is sponsored by the Town of Pound Ridge Conservation Board, partnering with the Henry Morgenthau Preserve, Inc.
We have many great “Repair Coaches” lined up—neighbors of yours!—to fix your items…but of course we welcome your skills too!
So far we have: 2 general fix-it people, 1 woodworker, 3 fabric/jewelry people, 2 computer people, 1 lamp repair person, 1 upholstery repairer, 1 lamp repairer, 1 bicycle repairer and 1 knitting repair person.
We are seeking repair coaches with know-how in electronics since we expect that will be in demand.
You’ll discover how much fun it is to fix things in the midst of your community. Repairs are collaborative—no one expects you to know everything! Send Marilyn an email to find out more.
Questions? Do you want to bring something you're not sure we can repair? Please get in touch with us ahead of time.
