Ellenville

Ellenville’s Repair Cafe was started in 2025 by John Glagola and Poppy Cannon. The founding team hatched the idea during an event based around trash reduction. Poppy loves to keep items out of the landfill and John loves fixing things. This Repair Cafe aims to help the residents of Wawarsing, Ellenville and surrounding areas to reduce trash and repair items to working condition. Originally the cafe was held in The Norbury building on Center Street which has long served as a community hub for the town. By the end of 2025, however, the team realized they had outgrown that space! Cafes will now being held at the Ellenville Village Hall at 2 Elting Court.
