The Ellenville Repair Cafe will take place in the town’s historic Norbury Buildling, now home to the woodworking Studio Glagola.

The Ellenville Repair Cafe was started in 2025 by a group of organizers from the town of Wawarsing. Events are hosted every on the third Saturday of every other month from 12 noon - 4pm.
Ellenville’s Repair Cafe was started by John Glagola and Poppy Cannon. The founding team hatched the idea during an event based around trash reduction. Poppy loves to keep items out of the landfill and John loves fixing things. This Repair Cafe aims to help the residents of Wawarsing, Ellenville and surrounding areas to reduce trash and repair items to working condition. The cafe will be held in The Norbury building on Center Street which has long served as a community hub for the town. The Norbury is once again excited to open its doors to the community of Wawarsing and Ellenville as the location of Ulster County’s newest repair cafe.
