Our Conservation Advisory Council was interested in holding an event to help people with broken appliances--a way to keep the items out of the trash if we could. When we found out about the Repair Cafe movement and the RepairCafeHV website, we decided to launch our first Repair Cafe in November 2017.
Our town has a very nice mix of residential hamlets, commercial centers, parkland (including a segment of the Dutchess Rail Trail), working farms and pasture.
