Stanford opened its new library building in October 2019. Hosting a Repair Cafe is something the library’s board had long wanted to do, and our new Community Room was the ideal space. We had our first event and the community was thrilled. Stanford is a small but active Dutchess County community that values sustainability--and the Repair Cafe is a perfect example of that.
